National Research Center for Statistics and the Environment

Location

NRCSE is located on the University of Washington campus in a suite of offices on the second floor of Padelford Hall, immediately below the third floor offices of the Department of Statistics. This location greatly facilitates communication and interaction of Center members and visitors with faculty and students in the Department of Statistics and places the Center in close proximity to the Mathematics and Statistics Research Library, also in Padelford Hall. NRCSE now shares lounge and conference room facilities with the Department of Statistics.

The intent of the Center is that all researchers (including visitors and research assistants) who so wish, may have access to a desk at the Center, adequate computing equipment and support, and reasonable office support.
