About Science: A Quantitative Environmental Research
Curriculum for 5th - 7th Grades June Morita
The Truth About Science is a curriculum development project,
funded by the Discuren Foundation and the National Research
Center for Statistics and the Environment (NRCSE). The
curriculum guides students through the process of conducting
scientific research: asking testable research questions,
defining hypotheses, designing a research methodology,
collecting data in the field, organizing and summarizing data,
analyzing data with simple statistics, and presenting research
results as both posters and oral presentations.
