Student Award


 

Each year TIES sponsors a student award as part of the annual conference.  The award consists of a certificate and US$500, which is split if there is more than one winner.  The award will be presented prior to the conclusion of the conference.

 

Eligibility

 

To be eligible the paper must represent work accomplished as a student and be presented at the TIES 2002 conference by the student.  The research must have relevance to environmetrics.  The paper may have co-authors, but the student should be the principal author and must be the presenter.  No written paper is required, but is encouraged.

 

Submission Procedure

 

To submit a paper for consideration, the student must submit the abstract by the final deadline for submission of Abstracts, April 30, 2002.  

Procedures for submission of abstracts.  Make sure to indicate that the paper is to be considered for the student award.  Students who submit a paper for consideration will be contacted prior to the conference confirming their submission and providing additional details.
