Title: Effects of Climate on Wildland Fires in the US

 Abstract:
 If the climate is changing, what are the possible effects on future forest 
fires? What do the existing data tell us? By modelling the relationship 
between current climate and wildfire activity in the Western US forests, 
and by modelling current observed trends, we make inferences about the possible 
effects of increased temperatures and decreased rainfall on future wildfires.
