Here is the course announcement,

Here will be a tentative course outline.

Here will be a link to some notes.
This is a final(?) version of Chapters 1 to 4 (Feb 19,'99)
and here is a version just of the remainder (Feb 19,'99).
and here are the references (Feb 19).

To save time, I have switched to writing the notes for the SEMSTAT workshop. Parts 2 and 3 of these are Chapters 5 and 6 (very roughly) of the lecture notes. Here is the final (i.e. submitted) version. (Feb 28, '99). Even though it says "for SEMSTAT participants only", you may of course print them out for this class.

Here is a link to some elementary genetics notes used in STAT394-395.

Here is a link to a 1995 Tech Report. You should not need to print this -- I have some hard copies still available.

There will be no homework for this class.
There will be some sort of project and/or presentation for each student.
Students are encouraged to try some of the genetic analysis software available -- either pedpack, or MORGAN. You are encouraged NOT to download it from the web site, unless you do not have access to any Stat computers. There are better versions installed on the Stat system, available.
